Wow.

I just said goodbye to my friend Colleen and closed the door, standing inside my new apartment.  What a whir of emotion.  My husband and I separated August 1st of last year and have since divorced.  My seven-year-old daughter and I have been living with friends for a year.  I'm apprehensive about all kinds of different aspects of this new step but so ready and excited, too.  I'll keep adding things to my Amazon wish list and taking things one day at a time.  :)  For example, tomorrow I may need to actually fill my fridge with food, but for now, Fiona has a hair appointment in an hour, then she and I will be at work until seven-fifteen or so, and then come back to sleep in our new place for the first time.
